UFA Fiction is a German award winning film and television Company and a unique leader in the German film and television market, offering a remarkable portfolio of films and series which have strongly influenced the German production landscape. The company’s directors are Markus Brunnemann, Joachim Kosack, Benjamin Benedict, Sebastian Werninger and Jörg Winger. It also includes producers Daniel van den Berg, Johannes Kunkel, Alicia Remirez, Christian Rohde and Tommy Wosch.

Our Award Wining Cold War Spy Series "Deutschland 83" ("Peabody Award"; "Goldene Kamera"; "Grimme Preis" and many more) was sold in more than 20 territories and aired on Sundance TV (US), Channel 4 (UK) and French pay TV giant Canal Plus. Our WWII drama "Generation War" (Trailer) was sold all over the world in more than 150 countries and won - along with many other national and international awards, the "International Emmy for Best Mini Series". The company also released the adaption of Noah Gordon’s bestselling novel „The Physician“ (Trailer), starring Tom Payne, Stellan Skarsgård & Ben Kingsley. With a box office of $ 42,2 million domestically, it was one of Germany’s most successful theater films. The movie was released in more then 50 countries.

Among other successful films and TV series’ such as "Danni Lowinski", "March of millions" and "The Tower", UFA Fiction is producing the domestic crime procedurals "Bella Block", "Donna Leon", "Soko Leipzig" and "Soko 5113". The company also released "Bornholmer Straße" - a drama about the last night before the Berlin Wall fell, "Naked among wolves", a TV drama set in the concentration Camp Buchenwald in 1945 and currently "Ku'damm 56– Rebel With a Cause" which depicts the lives of four women in a Berlin dance school of 1956, which becomes the arena for the battle between sexual revolution and conservatism.

Currently UFA Fiction is producing Charité (WT) – a miniseries about the beginning of the most famous hospital in Europe and "The Same Sky" (AT) - a multi-layered family drama, set in the divided Berlin of the 70's.
